Persuasive


Many people may question the impact of Amina Ross or you might know her better as "Harriet Tubman". Some people dont know the story of Harriet Tubman. She was a person that not only risked freedom, but her life for the freedom of others. Her amazing story should be an inspiration to all people who wish to make a difference.
Many people believe in many forms of influence, but the biggest has been Harriet Tubman. If Harriet Tubman did not have the courage to free others and risk her life, the United States and the world could still be in slavery. Harriet Tubman went throught many struggles in her childhood. She was sold into slavery at 11 and made her way after being sold for the second time to the Boress family. Her main duty was to take care of the newborn baby. After her rough childhood, she escaped the Boress plantation. This is when she escaped the Boress Plantation and when she developed her best work, "The Underground Railroad", a series of stop that freed the slaves to Canada. Harriet Tubman reserved a great honor having Sara Bradford Wright two books on her life. One, called "Scenes in the Life of Harriet Tubman" and"Harriet Tubman: the Moses of Her People".
The amazing stories ended March 10 1913. This was the date of Harriet Tubman death. She was an amazing inspiration to many people. Out of Harriet Tubman's 11 brothers and sisters, she stood out because of her courage. To everyone who dreams to change the world, Harriet Tubman should be your idol.

Expository

Harriet Tubman went thru many things while trying to free the slaves. It was in 1820 when Harriet Tubman was born. She was born into a poor family and later was traded into slavery. She was traded to a wealthy man who later became feed up with her and traded her into the Bordess family. Edward Bordess the head of the house used Harriet to nurse their new born child. Mr. Bordess also used her to work in the field. Often if she dint perform the work well she would punished by Mrs. Bordess.

Harriet Tubman was best known for the Under Ground Rail Road. A series of stops that stretched form Maryland over the border of Canada. Only when the slaves reached that border they would be free. She was inspired to start this after she was free. Harriet wanted to help all the slaves since she all ready had the privilege of being free. The Under Ground Rail Road began in 1850 and ended in 1865. This ended when she freed a total of 300 slaves. She made many trips to accomplish her goal.

This magnificent story ended March 10 1913 when Harriet Tubman died. She was a great inspiration to many abolitionary. Her devotion to risk her own freedom to save others was one in a million. She is a role model for all those who wish to make a difference in the world. All those who hear the story of Harriet Tubman can feel influenced and inspired. Her story is one of a kind and can also help stop the modern day slavery. Harriet Tubman’s sacrifice made our freedom what it is today.
